Why is it so important that a scientist accurately describes the procedure used in the experiment?

It is important for scientist to describe the procedure used in the experiment so that someone can repeat the same experiment in order to confirm the results. Other scientists can test the data and methods of the experiment and build on the same new research . Result must be reproduced by other scientists within the scientific community.
