Answer;

= 356.2 m/s

Explanation;

The speed of the wave is dependent on temperature of the medium;

The equation to use will be;

Speed = 331 + 0.6 T ; where T is the temperature in degrees Celsius.

T = 42 °C

Therefore;

speed = 331 + 0.6 × 42

           = 356.2 m/s
