X= first number
X+1= second number

X(x+1)=6
X^2+1x=6
Subtract 6 from both sides
X^2 +1x -6=0

(X+3)(x-2)=0
-3 and 2.
-3 won’t work
So the answer is 2. 2+1=3
2 and 3
