The slope is –3.

Solution:

To find the slope of the line:

The given points in the table lie on a line.

Take any two points from the line.

Let the points are (0, 2) and (3, –7).

[tex]x_1=0,y_1=2,x_2=3, y_2=-7[/tex]

Slope of the line formula:

[tex]$m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

[tex]$m=\frac{-7-2}{3-0}[/tex]

[tex]$m=\frac{-9}{3}[/tex]

m =  –3

The slope is –3.
