A car has a 15 gallon gas tank. If a car gets 32 miles per gallon and travels 384 miles, how much gas will be left in the tank?

To figure this out, we must first divide the total amount of miles traveled by the miles per gallon.

384 / 32 = 12

After figuring that out, we must subtract the gallons used from the gallons that were in the gas tank before travel.

15 - 12 = 3

Therefore, your final answer is 3 gallons. There is 3 gallons left in the tank.
